“READY TO WORK” Skilled Trades Bootcamp

STUDENTS: The Skilled Trades Boot Camp is a FREE three-day training program for high school graduates with diplomas or GEDs and young adults up to age 21. Participants will spend two days learning skills in various trades and the final day will be a graduation and job hiring event. Program hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch will be provided daily. On the last day of the program, participants will have an opportunity to interview and hire the participants. 

SPONSORS: In order to put on a first-class program, we need Sponsors to help with the cost of this program. Sponsors are allowed to participate in the Job Hiring Fair on Friday and can provide company materials to the participants. Sponsorships are a great way for Associate Members who are not directly involved in specific trades but are an integral part of the construction industry – Insurance, Marketing Firms, Professional Services, etc. to participate.

CONTRACTORS / TRAINERS: We also need Contractors. Each company will have an opportunity to conduct a hands-on skills training class for your field. Classes will consist of 6-8 students per team. Your company will be responsible for a minimum of 4 classes over a one-day period. Each class is 1.5 hours long. You will need to provide the tools, materials and any specialized safety equipment that is required. A participation form with details will be sent upon registration.
