Membership in the GCBA is powerful!
Your membership in our local association automatically gives you membership in the National Association of Home Builders and the Florida Home Builders Association. This 3-in-1 opportunity positions you and your business to receive valuable discounts on products and services you may already be using.
In reality, some GCBA Members say the savings they receive in discounts and rebates cover the costs of their membership investment!

We all know that to maximize business opportunities, the best way to market and showcase your business and services is to network. Through your GCBA Membership, you'll find worthwhile, and quite frankly, invaluable opportunities to network with our Members with whom you want to do business. Whether it's enjoying the benefits of a Hard Hat Happy Hour, participating in one (we encourage you to become involved) of our signature events like the prestigious PRISM Awards (recognizing excellence in a variety of categories from architecture and design to marketing and communities of excellence) or other events like a Golf Outing, Halloween Party, or legislative updates from our lawmakers, we know how to have fun while taking business seriously.
Get Involved!
Our GCBA Members are encouraged to actively get involved in our association. You may become a Committee Chair, Event Volunteer, New Member Ambassador, or a variety of other activities. In fact, if you have an awesome idea for an event or activity -- we want to hear from you as soon as you become a Member!

Every new Member of the Gold Coast Builders Association has the opportunity to participate in either our monthly FREE Coffee and Conversation Virtual Meeting or may be featured for their Sponsorship of our many activities and events. If your business has a great story to share with our Members, we want to put you in the spotlight so you may promote your business and generate new business. It's just that simple.

Builder and Associate
Dues payments to the Gold Coast Builders Association are NOT tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes, but they may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Your investment in our Annual Membership to the Gold Coast Builders Association includes $175 for membership in the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) and $198 for membership in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). A portion of your investment to the FHBA is used for lobbying and is not deductible for tax purposes. The non-deductible portion of your current FHBA dues is 36% and the non-deductible portion of your 2023 NAHB dues is 18%.
$27.00 of your dues for membership in the Florida Home Builders Association and $10.00 of your dues for Gold Coast Builders Association is allocated to the Florida Home Builders Political Action Committees. This portion of your dues is not tax deductible as a business expense.
This allocation is optional. If you do not want any of your dues allocated to GCBA or FHBA Political Action Committees, please indicate so and this allocation will be retained in GCBA or FHBA operating funds.
If you do not want to allocate any of the dues to Gold Coast Builders Association or Florida Home Builders Political Action Committees, please send an email to info@GCBAFlorida.com saying "Please DO NOT allocate any of my dues to Gold Coast Builders Association or Florida Home Builders Political Action Committees."
Affiliate
Dues payments to the Gold Coast Builders Association are NOT tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes, but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Your dues for annual membership to the Gold Coast Builders Association includes $30 for membership in the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) and $15 for membership in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). A portion of your 2023 dues to the FHBA is used for lobbying and is not deductible for tax purposes. The non-deductible portion of your 2023 FHBA dues is 35% and the non-deductible portion of your 2023 NAHB dues is 18%.
Membership in all categories is for one year from the date your Membership into the GCBA is reviewed and approved. Membership is paid on an annual basis only and is subject to annual renewal. Non-renewing Members are not eligible for Membership Benefits, Discounts, or Rebates that were available as Members.

Builder Membership is for CBC, CRC and CGC contractors
Associate Membership is for any other licenses or building industry businesses.
If you are unsure which category to select contact the GCBA Office at 561-228-6137. Joining under the incorrect category can impact your exposure to your target audience!
All memberships are annual. Credit Cards will be placed on file for auto renewal of memberships. Memberships will automatically renew unless you contact GCBA 30 days in advance of your renewal date.
If you require a payment plan please contact the GCBA office at 561-228-6137. Payment plans have 10% service fees attached and are by special exception only.
Membership in GCBA is required as a prerequisite to joining a Council. If you are not a Current GCBA Member or an application for Membership is not included, your application for membership in a council will not be approved.
