Steve Hoffacker, CAPS, (http://stevehoffacker.com) is an internationally recognized, award-winning Certified Aging In Place Specialist and Master Instructor. He focuses on working with professionals wishing to create solutions for their clients to remain living safely, comfortably, and securely in their homes as they grow older. Among other classes, consulting, and webinars, he teaches courses leading to the NAHB and AARP co-branded designation of Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist ("CAPS") and his own creation “Beyond Your CAPS: What’s Next?” for ideas and ways to monetize the CAPS designation. The CAPS is a much sought-after professional designation by remodelers, trade contractors, home builders, architects, interior designers, kitchen and bath designers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, durable medical equipment suppliers, mobility equipment specialists, plumbing and other building materials manufacturers and suppliers, real estate sales professionals, university faculty, non-profit organizations, senior service agencies, governmental entities, personal service providers, professional organizers, and many others. Accessibility (in its many forms of mobility, from moving about to reaching and retrieving), safety (including peace-of-mind and the feeling of being secure in one’s home), comfort (feeling at-ease in one's home or living environment and being able to use all of the features in the home without difficulty), and convenience (a concept similar to comfort because all of the elements in a home to facilitate successful use and enjoyment of the living space) all are important factors that are areas of primary emphasis and focus. This is done across three main areas of the human condition - mobility issues, sensory concerns, and cognitive abilities - for people with no immediate health needs or issues, those with a progressive condition that requires increasing attention over time, and those with a traumatic injury requiring more immediate modifications to address it.

Jennifer Morton, President of JMorton Planning & Landscape Architecture, has 30 years of experience in land planning, landscape architecture, entitlements and project management in southeast Florida. She has extensive experience working with residential and commercial builders/developers throughout Florida. Jennifer not only has a strong planning background; she is also well versed in local regulations and ordinances, which allows for the timely processing of plans and permits ultimately saving her clients time and money. Jennifer’s experience with zoning and site planning issues has provided her a wide range of projects including large-scale mixed-use developments, planned unit developments, neighborhood commercial centers, hotels, schools, churches, synagogues and overall institutional campuses. During the early part of Jennifer’s career, she spent a significant amount of time working on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects and ultimately was responsible for securing all the Certificates of Conformity (COC) for existing signage located along Okeechobee Boulevard upon widening from six to eight lanes. Over the years, Jennifer has been the subconsultant for planning and landscape architecture services on many government projects including Palm Beach County’s Vista Center Governmental Complex, Palm Beach County Convention Center and other park projects throughout southeast Florida.

John is a Certified General Contractor and Certified Plumbing Contractor with over 30 years of construction industry experience.

John’s career includes extensive experience working in leadership roles with construction industry leaders such as US Precast, Avatar/Brookman-Fels and Centex Homes, contributing significantly to growth and profitability of each company he has worked with.

John is an active member of Gold Coast Builder’s Association; he serves on the Board of Director and was the President in 2016. Additionally, he is a member of the Collier Building Industry Association.

John’s belief in integrity, honesty and professionalism has been the catalyst to his growth within the industry. Understanding the complexities of quality building and construction in the industry has established him as a well-regarded professional among his peers in the areas of Custom Home Building and large-scale Renovations.

Maya Simhon-Chocron, Broker Associate, has been working in the Florida real estate industry since 1994 with expert real estate Sales and Marketing background. As an expert Florida realtor since 2005, she specializes in new construction, residential sales, property management, and leasing. Maya works with sellers, buyers, absentee owners, and investors. Maya also acts as a property manager/ owner representative for our investor's homes.  She builds her sales team based on each individuals experience and strengths. Maya stives to tool her clients and her associates with information that will support the transaction in the best way.
